Everyone that works here is extremely rude, even the operator. The place is filthy and the nurses do not do their jobs. They do not contact the family when something happens with the patient and you can never get in contact with the doctor. They also allowed someone on the do not visit list in multiple times until they were caught. The place should be shut down!!!!!

If I could Give the birthing staff 0 stars I would. I gave Birth here in 2013 to my first daughter, my second child. First of All, the delivery doctors who were on call to this place seriously Failed. My Dr decided she was going to take her Anniversary vacation and wanted to schedule me for a specific day to deliver, Not let my daughter come naturally. Then, they tell u to wait Five minutes til your contractions are apart from each other which was a Big mistake. They had me check Into the hospital and by that time my daughter wanted to come out And my delivery replacement doctor was Not there he was running Late and I couldn't get an epidural And the delivery Nurse held my daughters head in the birth canal while I was delivering for several minutes, frantically scared to let my daughter slide out making me wait for the doctor which Still wasn't there by that time!! and now my daughter has developmental Issues and in the Autism spectrum (my other two children are advanced and in gifted classes). A ton of staff was in my room when i delivered n Acted like I was a celebrity. My daughter Almost died, she was rushed to the NICU where she stayed for 7 days and nights. I am a very good mother as I Never drank or smoked or took any foreign substances into my body esp during pregnancy. I am gathering lawyers And will file a lawsuit here soon and will sue the Hell out of these people for what they've done to my daughter!

My mother fell and broke her hip and went to the ED on Saturday after Hurricane Matthew. We waited in the hallway for 30 minutes before she was given a room. They took ex-rays and cat scans, blood work etc. We were never met with a doctor to tell us the results. The nurse informed us her hip was broken and they were going to admit her and that a doctor would speak to us. A hospitalist and a PA spoke with us to admit mom to the hospital. They had no information on my mother's condition or what type of surgery she would be having. At 8:30 pm they moved her to a room. At 9:15 the next morning we were told they were taking her down to surgery. We could follow her down. The surgeon never spoke to us to inform us was procedure they were doing. The consent papers were for surgery on her left hip when we clearly knew the right hip was broken. The nurse simply informed me it said left hip on the chart. They took mother into pre-op and were told she would also go to this same room for recovery and we could wait at the end of the hall in the surgical waiting room. Neither the surgeon or anyone else ever came to discuss the surgery with us. I was called on the phone by the surgeon's PA to inform me there was a mistake and I had signed consent for the left hip but they would be operating on her right hip. I was then put on the line with the nurse so I could give her my verbal consent. I informed her we were right outside in the waiting room. We sat in the waiting room while 2 employees joked and laughed and watched TV and finally disappeared. There was no one to ask about the status of my mother. We waited patiently for 4 hours until my husband finally went up to my mother's floor to see if the nursing station up there had heard anything. He found my mother had been brought back to her room 30 minutes earlier. Not one nurse, doctor, orderly, volunteer, fly on the wall, informed us of my mother's condition or outcome of the surgery. My husband had to have the nurse call the surgeon. He blatantly lied and said he had tried to call me. I assure you, I had no missed calls on my phone and no messages. And even if he had tried, he should have informed staff in recovery to keep trying to reach me. My mother was not an indigent off the street with no family. We were relying on good care and at least an interest in my mother's well being. This treatment is totally unacceptable. We have yet to see a physician come to my mother's room. Due to the fact that my mother also suffers from dementia and all staff were made aware of that, it should have be imperative that discussion with the family be a priority. I will never go to this hospital again and will make sure none of my friends or family go there. It is deplorable and inexcusable.
